Where the human spirit meets the ultimate frontier, this expedition will achieve something incredible:

- 400KM ski from inner coastal at a place called Constellation Inlet to Mt. Vinson (20days)

- 4,892mt of climbing to the summit of Mt. Vinson (5-10 days)

CLIMATE SCIENCE

Our journey will pass through hundreds of KM's of remote and mostly untouched landscapes, one of the most crucial areas for climate research and understanding impacts of global warming.

To help support a sustainable future, we will work with Dr Wolfgang Ruck of the University of Canterbury, the the world’s foremost expert of sea ice. We will collect project-based data that helps to better understand Antarctica’s changing climate and its effect on the world. This includes:

  • Barometric Pressure Readings

  • Temperature

  • Precipitation, Moisture and Wind § Ice Shelf Surface Measurements § Snow Carbon
